I've always enjoyed creating and find solace in the artistic process.  My subject matter focus is usually on nature and wildlife, which I find endlessly inspiring, and I try to instill a sense of wonder and awe at the amazing variety of species and landscapes on earth. Lately I have become interested in writing about science and conservation for non-scientists, and see the benefit in combining narrative storytelling with ecological data to put together the bigger picture. My ultimate goal is to use my creative pursuits to communicate scientific concepts and ideas and inspire others, both through visual art and writing.
